Gary Gilbert Bush

Gary Gilbert Bush age 68 of Falls Church, Virginia passed away Friday April 15, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Horse Cave, Kentucky and graduated from Caverna High School and Western Kentucky University. An Army veteran, Gary was a longtime executive with Junior Achievement, a nonprofit organization helping young people prepare for careers in the business world. He served with Junior Achievement in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte, North Carolina, Colorado Springs , Colorado and elsewhere. In 1994 Gary relocated to the D. C. area where he worked with Verizon Communications until his retirement in 2012.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Pauline Cline Bush and Gilbert Blaine Bush and by his sister, Cheryl Ann Bush.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth Altman Bush, their son, James Joseph Bush, his daughters, Lauren Bush Petron of Alexandria, Virginia and Natalie Diane Pannell of Alpharetta, Georgia, his grandchildren, Nathanael Sherer Petron, Anna Pauline Pannell and Natalie Claire Pannell. his sister, Brenda Bush Lyle of Horse Cave, Ky. , his nephew, Dennis Lyle and his niece Jennifer Lyle.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m.Saturday April 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with entombment in the family Mausoleum in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday April 29, 2016 and from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
