Garmon Hatcher

Garmon Hatcher age 70 of Horse Cave passed away at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday October 6, 2010 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green after a short battle with cancer. He was a native of Barren County, a member of the Horse Cave United Methodist Church, a member of the Antique Tractor Click, the Horse Cave Heritage Festival Committee,and the Cave City Masonic Lodge # 790 F & A M. He was active in the Relay For Life Antique Tractor Drive and retired after 25 years as a Supervisor for Eaton Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his Father , Ernest Hatcher and an Infant Brother, Douglas Hatcher.

His wife, Sue Skipworth Hatcher of Horse Cave

One Son , Jeff Hatcher & his wife Julie of Horse Cave

One Daughter, Kim Hatcher of Horse Cave.

One Grand-Daughter, Jamie Hatcher of Horse Cave.

His Mother, Louise Riggs Hatcher of Horse Cave

One Brother, Dwayne Hatcher & his wife Pat of Cave City

Two Sisters: Linda Poynter of Horse Cave

Gail Coats & her husband Doug of Horse Cave

And Several Nieces and Nephews.


Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday until funeral time.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
