Faye Hatcher Minor

Faye Hatcher Minor, age 75, of Cave City, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at her home.  She was a native of Cave City, a homemaker and longtime member of Servant Valley United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Poynter and Nellie Middleton Poynter, her husband, Richard Hatcher, two brothers, Carroll Poynter & Roy Poynter, Jr., one sister, Penny Coats, a half brother, Ed Harvey, a half sister, Elsie Barnes, and a son-in-law, Donnie Byrd.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Byrd of Cave City, a son, Marlon Hatcher and wife, Kaye, of Cave City, one grandson, Jason Byrd of Horse Cave, one granddaughter, Whitney Hopkins of Bon Ayre, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Servant Valley United Baptist Church in Cave City with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from  noon until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at Servant Valley United Baptist Church.
