Everett E. Hensley age 94 of the Monroe Community passed away December 5, 2012 at the Caverna Memorial Hospital E R , He was a native of Hart County, a retired farmer and a faithful member of the Monroe Baptist Church, he was also a former Dairy Farmer of the Year recipient. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah L. Hensley & Hettie Conyers Hensley, his wife of 66 years, Helon Forbis Hensley on December 4, 1999, 1 granddaughter, Bettina Hensley, 1 great grandson, Zachariah Hensley and by 3 brothers and 9 sisters.

Survived by

He is survived by 2 daughters, Delores Nunn & her husband Randall of Hardyville, Dorada Hatcher & her husband Paul of Cave City, 4 sons, Douglas Hensley & his wife Judy of Canmer, Deward Hensley & his wife Connie of Canmer, David Hensley & his wife Becky of Glasgow & Bro. Darrell Hensley & his wife Lisa of Canmer. 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. a brother-in-law, Coy Reid Forbis & his wife Ola of Canmer, he is also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins and by his very special caregiver Danny Dunagan.

Visitation

Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 8 p.m. Friday, 9 until 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday at the Church.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday December 9, 2012 at the Monroe Baptist Church under direction of Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in the Conyers Cemetery.
