Ethel Marie Tweedy

Ethel Tweedy age 73 of Hardyville passed away Saturday October 8, 2022 at T.J Sampson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

Mrs. Tweedy was a member of the Canmer Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Tweedy and her parents Glen and Hazel Binford Trowbridge; two sisters, Linda Kaye Trowbridge and Judy Robertson; two brothers, Dale and Larry Trowbridge.

She is survived by four sons, Bobby Tweedy (Gloria), William Tweedy (Michelle), Billy Tweedy (Patricia), and Chris Tweedy. Five brothers, Tommy Trowbridge, Glen Trowbridge (Diane), and Ronnie Trowbridge (Doris Shirley), Johny Trowbridge, Jackie Trowbridge (Kathy); five sisters, Lillian Moore, Linda Pippin (Jerry), Mary Thompson (Clifford), Christine Osborne (Sammy); three grandaughters, Tiffany Tressler, Sarah Tweedy (Bailey Skaggs) , and Brittany Thompson (Keith Wilson); four great-grandchildren, Hadley Wilson, Haven Tressler, Everlee Tressler, and Wyatt Skaggs; special daughter, Sandra Thompson; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 1 PM at Joyners Chapel Church with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
