I am wrting to say how sorry I am to hear of Elmer Dean Short. He sung in the choir with me I knew him for almost 7 years and his wife as well. They both were very special To me and I loved them both. I know in my heart he is up there rejoicing with my mom and his wife! I will never forget him he always picked me up for choir practice and we sit and talked and had a great time. God Bless each and everyone of you and hold to God's unchanging Hand. He will be missed deeply! God has gained another Angel!

We were saddened to hear of Elmer Dean's passing, especially so soon after Viola passed. I will always remember him and his friendship in the Gospel with gratitude to God. He was a pastor's friend, and a good man. I know the church and the town will miss him. Of course you all who were his family will. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
