Elizabeth "Teet" Bush, 79 of Northtown, died Thursday January 21, 2016, at her home. She was a farmer and a homemaker, a former seasonal employee of the Horse Cave Southern States Coop. She was a lifetime member of Northtown United Baptist Church, and she loved family, flowers, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Clemmie Logsdon Coates.
She was a loving wife of 62 years to Georgie Bush of Northtown. She is also survived by her 4 children, Marline Whitmer and her husband, Terry, of Horse Cave, Michael Bush and his wife, Frances, of Horse Cave, Marilyn Dennison and her husband, Clifton, of Horse Cave, Maria Sweatman and her husband, Tim, of Bowling Green. One granddaughter, Marla Bush of Horse Cave. Six sisters, Mary Norman, Eldora Adwell, Jeanetta Bunch, Rosie Gentry, Adell Poynter, and Tommie Kerr. Two brothers, Clifford and David Coates, and a lifetime friend Kenneth Adwell.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northtown United Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, January 25, 2016 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
