Dorothy Jewell

Dorothy Jewell, 90, formerly of Hardyville, Kentucky, passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana Thursday July 21, 2022. She was a native of Hart County and a faithful member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Jewell her parents Luther and Katie V. Kidd Nunn and  threebrothers, Arlene, James and Lyndon.  

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Sue Bolton (Mike) and Nancy Carol Reed (Darrell) both of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Two grandsons, Ralph Wayne Reed (Brooke) and Ryan Wesley Reed (Melissa); three granddaughters, Kerrie Michele Lekens, MelissaLoraine Webb (Marc), Jennifer Gayle Wineman (Keith); eleven great-grandchildren, Jacob and Kristofer Lekens, Lauren, Tyler and Zachary Reed, Luke and Leland Webb, Elijah and Isaiah Wineman, Kinsey and Kylie Reed; 5 great-great granddaughters, Aubree, Kinley, Hazel, Sutton and Karsen; 3 great-great grandsons, Noah, Kase and Easton.  Expressions of Sympathy can be made in the form of contributions to the Heart to Heart Hospice Foundation.  

Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2021 at 1 PM with burial to follow in the Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11AM until time of service at 1PM.
