Dorlene Walton, age 71, of Horse Cave, Passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Cub Run and a member of Cane Run Missionary Baptist Church. She loved flowers & working in the garden, she loved being outdoors & watching the wildlife and hated housework!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Walton, her parents, Radford & Alta Butler. One son, David Miles, an infant grandson, Lucas Miles.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita McKinney, of Horse Cave, three grandchildren, Joe McKinney (Danielle Sammeroff) of London, England, Amber McKinney, of Horse Cave, Shelby Miles, of Bowling Green. One daughter-in-law, Cheri Briggs, of Cave City, three brothers, Raybon (Quint) Butler, Munfordville, Lanny (Janette) Butler, Cub Run, Furland (Greedith) Butler, Cub Run, one sister, Carlene Terry, Cub Run; four step-daughters, Phyllis (Mike) Mosby, Pam Davidson, Rhonda (Damon) Sexton, Nancy Walton, all of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 26, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
