Doris Carver Hensley, age 81, of Horse Cave, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.
She was a Hart County native, a member of Boyd's Creek United Methodist Church in Glasgow, the office manager for 48 years for Hensley Chevrolet and later for B.R. Carver Chevrolet and Cave City Chevrolet. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #322, of Munfordville.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil M. Carver and Evelyn Bailey Carver; and her brother, Virgil Bruce Carver.
Survivors include her son, Boston Hensley, Jr. and wife Vicki, of Horse Cave; her daughter, Deborah Hensley Thrasher and companion, Richard DeRoy, of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Sheree Thrasher Green and husband, Bobby; Heather Hensley Meredith and husband, Parker; Boston "Bo" Hensley, III and his wife, Jordon; and Allyn Hensley; five great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Lucille Martin Carver, of Jeffersonville, In., Shirley Hensley, of Bowling Green , and Glennis Hensley, of Corbin, Ky.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2015, at 11 AM, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home will be Sunday, from 4 - 8 PM, and after 8 AM until service time, on Monday.
Public Eastern Star Services will be conducted on Sunday evening at 7 PM.
