Doris June Atwell

Doris June Atwell, age 84, of Canmer passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She was a Hart County native and a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She enjoyed doing floral decorations.

She is preceded in death by her First husband James "Jimmy" Dishman and her parents Robert and Nina Elizabeth Overfelt.

She is survived her husband, Keith Atwell; her daughter, Tonya Dishman (Richard); one grandson, Christian Dishman;  she was a second mother to Melaine Stinson; one brother, Buddy Overfelt (Shirley); one nephew, Shane Overfelt (Missy); five step children, Debbie Riggs (Johnny), Cindy Byrd (Jeff), Richard Atwell (Tonya), Jeremy Atwell (Nicole), Danielle Lowry (Justin); six step-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held Monday November 28, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Bethel Cumberland Presbytarian Church with burail to follow at Dishman Family Cemetery in Canmer Visitation will be held Sunday November 27, 2022 from 2:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Winn Funeral Home and after 9:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Bethel Cumberland Presbytarian Church.
