David E. Puckett

David E. Puckett, 64, of Horse Cave, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at his home.

He was a Hart County native, an employee of Pier 19, in Cave City, a Kentucky Colonel, an avid comic book collector, and a member of the Caverna High School Class of 1968.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Puckett and a brother, Harold H. Puckett.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Puckett; his mother, Georgia Puckett; an aunt, Mary Sturgeon and husband, Jimmie, all of Horse Cave; three uncles, Johnny Puckett and wife, Patty, of Horse Cave and Leon and James Puckett, both of Indiana, and several cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Friday, September 25, 2015, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation at the funeral home will be on Thursday, from 2:30 - 8PM, and after 8AM, Friday, until service time.

The family requests no flowers and that expressions of sympathy be made to The American Cancer Society.
