David Magoon

David Magoon, age 60 of Three Springs passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a native of Kalamazoo, MI and was a best friend, lover, husband and soul-mate. He loved Jesus and was a christian, so his family takes comfort in knowing they will see him again. He was a man of many talents; he was a carpenter, nurse and engineer. At the age of 50, he made a career change and began nursing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a friend to everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Jacqueline Magoon.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Magoon; daughters, Krystal Taube-Magoon (Billy), Dana Cole-Berman (Ariel), Amy Cole (Bip); grandchildren, Shaden Roman and Maddox Roman; three sisters, Elizabeth Mann (Duane), Kathy Macomber (Ron), Sue Tannery (Terry); three brothers, Dan Magoon (Marcey), Dale Magoon (Stacey) and Chris Magoon (Renee).

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, under the direction of Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Houk Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and again on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
