Danny Melloan

Danny Melloan, age 71, of Edmonton, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was a native of Hart County and resided in Edmonton. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Greensburg. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Birdie Melloan; one sister, Maxine Reynolds; two brothers, Jerry Melloan and Dale Melloan.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marilyn Melloan; two daughters, Christy Melloan Woosley (Brian) and Tammy McDowell (Andy); one step-son, Daniel Gilley (Erin); four grandchildren, Chasity Zabala, Austin Woosley, Sarah Gilley, and Rebekah Gilley; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Gibson, Ryker, and Rhett Zabala; one brother, Kenneth Melloan.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 5-8 PM and from 9 AM until time of service on Friday.
