Danny Logsdon, age 75 of Horse Cave passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 in Glasgow, Ky.
He was born May 11, 1947 in Savoyard, Metcalfe County. He attended Caverna High School and also Murray State University on a football scholarship. He received his B.A. from Campbellsville University and his masters from Western Kentucky University. His college majors were health, education and supervision. He taught at Munfordville, Bonnieville, and Hart County High School. He was Assistant Principal and Football Coach at Hart County High and Prinicipal at LeGrande School. He was also the Director of Pupil Personal and Transportation Director for the Hart County Board of Education. He enjoyed playing and watching all sports and made many lifelong friends while playing golf tournaments and playing softball with the Glasgow Merchants. He was a longtime member of Caveland Country Club where he was on the Board of Directors for many years. He also enjoyed canning, cooking, and hunting with his son, granddaughter, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Katheryn Whitlow Logsdon and a special, Aunt Violet Whitlow.
He is survived by his son, Neil Logsdon (Amy); two granddaughters, Hannah Logsdon, and Haley Thomason (Connor); a great-grandson, Daniel Weston Cruse; five brothers, Clifton, Gary, Jerry, Kelly, and Timmy; one sister Kathy also survives.
To honor Danny's wishes, cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at Winn Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Winn Funeral Home.
