Dane Ann Wilson Stinson, age 55, of Horse Cave passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.
She was saved at the age of 15, at the Horse Cave Church of Christ, and was also a member of Zion Baptist Church in Rex, KY. She recently went to Bolton School House Baptist Church with her husband, Charles. She was a Petett family member through and through. She had the most giving heart and truly made friends with everyone. She loved her dog Axel, and enjoyed riding in her convertible Mustang. She loved going to the beach and spending time at her pool during the Summer. She enjoyed watching sports and loved watching her daughters play over the years.. She retired from her teaching career at Hart County High School, where she touched the lives of many students and gave them many nicknames. She was a 4th generation teacher and a 3rd generation graduate from WKU.
She preceded in death by her Husband of 29 years, Joey Wilson and her Father, Roy Petett.
She is survived by her two Daughters, Lexee Houchens (Dave) and Kylee Wilson; her Husband, Charles Stinson; one Granddaughter, Piper Houchens; her Mother, Judy Watson Roddy; one Brother, Bryan Petett (Angie); two Sisters, Jayne Ferry (Kevin) and Jill Petett; three Step-Daughters, Ali Estevez (Eric), Danielle Head (Jordan), and Morgan Priddy (Kenton); five Step-Grandchildren, Haidyn and Harlyn Head, Eliana, Ava, and Eric Estevez Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 3, 2022 at 2:30 PM at her residence in Horse Cave, Kentucky with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1 PM to 6 PM at Winn Funeral Home and again Monday October 3, 2022 from 9 AM until 1:45 PM at Winn Funeral Home.
Donations in memory of Dane can be made to the American Heart Association or to the National Organization for Rare Disorders for skin research.
