Christine Meadows

Christine Toohey Meadows "Granny Chris", age 93, of Hardyville, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home.  She was a native of Hart County, a member of Green's Chapel Church of Christ, homemaker, beautician, caregiver, seamstress, farmer, and a mother to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Toohey & Ruby Isenberg Toohey, husband, Leroy Meadows, daughter-in-law, Marinna Meadows, and two brothers, Russell Toohey and J. M. Toohey.

She is survived by one son, Larry Meadows, of Horse Cave, two daughters, Jane Goodwin and her husband, Darell, of Cave City, and Kathy Goodman and her husband, Sam, of Hardyville, three grandchildren, Phillip Goodwin and wife, Kim, Brian Goodwin and wife, Regina, and Jason Meadows and wife, Erin, three great-grandchildren, Kalyn Goodwin, Timothy Goodwin and Parker Meadows, one sister, Aline Isenberg, of Fern Creek, one brother, Robert Toohey and his wife, Annetta, of Cave City, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday until service time.
