Charles Edward Stinson age 70 of Munfordville passed away Thursday December 26, 2013 at his home with his loving family surrounding him. He was a native of Hart County a longtime Farmer and a highway and bridge concrete contractor and a member of the Indiana National Concrete Labor Union number 671. He was also a member of the Northtown Baptist Church and he loved his family and was truly an outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt, he was loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint Stinson and Margaret Thompson Stinson , a brother Wayne Stinson and a niece Jamesann Stinson.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Avery Stinson of Munfordville, his children, Joann Johnson and her husband Jonathan of Rowletts, Lisa Jaggers and her husband Mark of Munfordville, Charles "Bubba" Stinson and his wife Sandra of Hardyville, Jeannie Logsdon and her husband Leon of Hardyville, Brenda Riggs and her husband Anthony of Upton, Mary Jaggers and her husband Mike of Munfordville, Tammie Rucker and her husband Jason of Munfordville, Lottie Vance and her husband David of Canmer, Nana Self and her husband Stephen of Uno, Rob Stinson of Munfordville.
Twenty Grandchildren and nineteen Great-Grandchildren.
Three Brothers, Bernard Stinson and his wife Faye of Uno, Kenneth Stinson of Westmoreland, Tennesse, and Boobie Stinson and his wife Theresa of Horse Cave,
Four Sisters, Paulette Bush of Horse Cave, Kathy Dennison and her husband Paul Burton of Uno, Sue Martin and her husband Kenny of Horse Cave and Shelia England of Horse Cave. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews and a Host of Friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 28, 2013 at the Northtown Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 2 until 9 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until funeral time at the Northtown Baptist Church on Saturday.
