Charles D. Robertson

Charles D. Robertson, age 79, of Legrande, passed away on October 9, 2014 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.  He was a native of Green County and a retired small engine mechanic and enjoyed sitting on his front porch watching the traffic go by.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Una Judd Robertson, his wife, Loretta Robertson in 2012, four sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.

He is survived five children, Doug Robertson and wife, Sally, of Hardyville,  M.G. Robertson and wife, Cathy, of Munfordville, Veronica Shell and husband, Tommy, of Center, Tony Robertson and wife, Angela, of Horse Cave, and Tina Riley and husband, Doug, of Legrande; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, one brother, Curtis Robertson, and wife, Diane, of Donansburg, one sister, Louise Bryant, of Monroe, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Winn Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Whickerville Cemetery.  Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 3-8 p.m. on Saturday and after 9 a.m. on Sunday until service time.
