Charles M. "Bubby" Hayes, age 56, of Rowletts, passed away May 7, 2015 at Hart County Health Care Center. He was born in Barren County, Kentucky, a retired farmer, truck driver for Lora Turner & Sons, founder of Echo Mission Church and the pastor there for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors by hunting, fishing and camping. He was a friend to everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Hayes and Mary Love Maulden Hayes, a brother, Bobby (Red) Maulden, and a sister, Anna Mae Maulden.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Drema Spencer Hayes, Rowletts, a daughter, Samantha Reynolds and husband, Todd, of Kessinger, a son, Bobby Hayes and wife, Kim, of Rowletts, four grandchildren, Christian Reynolds, Hayley Reynolds, Katelyn Hayes, and Jackson Hayes, a special niece, Jessica Stover, two brothers, Sidney (Jam) Maulden, Rickey Hayes and his wife, Tammy, and four sisters, Gracie Lacy and her husband, Jimmy, Mary "Tiny" Horton and her husband, Steve, Lillie "Sissie" Spencer and her husband, A.D., and Valerie Gail Cross and her husband, Doug, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Echo Mission Church with burial to follow in the Echo Mission Church Cemetery. Visitation at Echo Mission Church from 2 p.m. on Friday and continuing non-stop until service time on Sunday at 11 a.m.
