Charles E. Bryant

Charles E. "Little Charlie" Bryant, age 79, Horse Cave, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the home of his son, Les Bryant, in Cave City.

He was a native of Green County, a member of the Baptist faith, a retired construction supervisor for 30 years and a former employee on the Belle of Louisville. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed playing bingo and sitting on the porch.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Shirley Bryant, his parents, Charlie and Mary Francis Brooks Bryant, one granddaughter, Christy Trowbridge, two brothers, Bill Bryant and James Bryant and one sister, Evelyn Turner.

He is survived by four sons, Dennis "Buck" Jaggers of Greensburg, Billy Ray Bryant of Louisville, Les Bryant and wife, Brandi, of Cave City, Dewayne Bryant and wife, Sherry, of Glasgow, and one daughter, Janice Johnson, and husband, Mickey, of Horse Cave, eleven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, one sister, Goldie Hart, of Horse Cave, one brother, Orville Bryant, of Greensburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation from 3-9 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday,
