Cattie Lou Miller, age 93 of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her residence. She was a Horse Cave native and a longtime member of the Horse Cave Baptist Church. Cattie Lou was an avid water color painter, tree farmer and retired after many years working in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in State Goverment for Governor's, Ford, Clements, Wetherby, Combs, Breathitt, Carroll, Brown and Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Emmett and Cattie Lieu Rowntree Miller, along with eight brothers and sisters.
Suvivors include Eleven nieces and nephews, Portia Brown, of Louisville, KY, Thomas Miller of Columbus, IN, Pat Miller of Hodgenville,KY, Kimberly Woodward of Nolansville, TN, Tim Terry Miller of Florida, Kasandra Ramsey of Greenville, IN, Karen Ramsey of Henryville, IN, Gary Miller of Charlestown, IN, Kathy McPherson of Shepherdsville, KY, Debra Hotka of Elizabethtown, KY, and Michael Miller also of Elizabethtown, KY.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 23, 2016 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
