Carol Forbis , 54 of Horse Cave, passed away Thursday September 24 at her residence. She was a native of Albany, Ky. She was a member of Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Co-Owner of Hoss Broadcasting 99.1, Forbis Communications (WLOC), and Forbis Auto Sales. She was Co- Founder of WLOC Clothes for Kids and the HOSS Foundation, a member of the Believers Of The Cross and We're Blessed gospel groups. She owned and operated Sporty Foods Concessions. She was instrumental in erecting the veterans memorial at the Hart County Courthouse. Carol was always willing to help and was a great asset to the community.
She was proceded in death by her Father General Bobby Wright.
She is survived by her Husband Dewayne, three children Chad (Whitney) Heath of Bonnieville. Nicole (Mike) Sexton of Sonora. Natalie (Joey) Hughes of Bowling Green. Her mother Shirley Sidwell Wright of Albany Ky. Six granddaughters Taegan, Keira, Hannah, Madelyn, Audrey, and Ava. Two sisters Trisha Wright and Jeff Bell of Monticello, Ky. ,Tammy (David) Irwin of Albany, Ky. One brother Bryan (Chi) Wright of Columbus, Ga., two nieces Kaela Wiggington and Hannah Wright, two nephews Curtis Irwin and Johnathan Wright, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services for Carol will be held at the Lighthouse Church on Sunday September 27 at 3 p.m. with Brothers Bobby Neal, Phillip Trent, and Joey Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the Whickerville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:30 until 9 p.m. on Saturday September 26 at the Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. until time of service on Sunday at Lighthouse Church.
