Cantrell "Doc" Hayes

Cantrell "Doc" Hayes age 66 of Munfordville, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Hayes was a retired Master Craftsman.  He was a cabinet maker at Square Deal Lumber Company for many years and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.  He loved car racing and music.

Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, George Alfred Hayes and Ruth Dale Perry Craine, two half sisters and three half brothers.

He is survived by his companion, Mary Poole of Munfordville,  his son, Nathan Hayes and wife Tamisha of Hardyville,  two daughters, Shanda Bennett and husband Allen of Horse Cave, Jennifer Hendrickson and husband Russell of Crab Orchard, Ky., 3 grandchildren, Cody and Kacie Bennett and Makayla Hayes, two sisters, Sallie Crain of Horse Cave, Markita Locke of Horse Cave and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 in the chapel of Winn Funeral home with burial in the Lighthouse Church Cemetery in Horse Cave.

Visitation 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.
