Caly D. Simpson

September 28, 1930 — January 31, 2013

Caly D. Simpson age 82 of the LeGrande community, passed away Thursday morning, January 31, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Simpson was born in Metcalfe County, owner and operator of Simpson's Garage and Welding Shop in LeGrande, a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and formerly lived in Hoopeston, Ill. where he owned Simpson's Wrecker Service. He also was an avid fisherman and a knife and coin collector.

Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his parents Jessie Simpson and Annie Ruth Trent Simpson, 3 sisters, Louise Simpson, Elois Turner and Elnora Simpson.

wife: Antonia Simpson of LeGrande

2 sons: Michael Simpson and wife Marie of Horse Cave

Robert Simpson and wife Debbie of Sarasota, Fl.

2 daughters: Cindy Milby of Horse Cave

Diana Simpson of Valparisio, In.

2 grandchildren: Jessica Mayville and Jon Michael Milby

brother: Kenneth Simpson of Columbus, In.

several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation

Visitation will begin 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.

Funeral Service

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home. Burial in the Cosby Cemetery with full military honors.
