Brenda Gail Wilhoite Hatcher

Brenda Gail Wilhoite Hatcher, age 74, of Horse Cave, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at TJ Samson Community Hospital.

She was a Georgetown, Ky. native. She was a retired book keeper and a faithful member of Cave City Christian Church. She had a lifelong passion for playing the piano which she used to glorify God. She loved her family but the light of her eyes was her Granddaughters! She was also another loving mother and grandmother to all her childrens and grandchildrens friends that she came in contact with. She also enjoyed watching her Western's in her free time.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Wilhoite; her brother, David Thomas.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Hatcher Bruton (Beau) and Traci Hatcher Cox, both of Horse Cave; one son, Troy Hatcher, of Horse Cave; her mother, Dorothy Wilhoite; two granddaughters, Shelby Greene and Briley Bruton; one brother, Lloyd Wilhoite (Pam) two nephews, Ben Wilhoite (Kamiko) and Jeremy Wilhoite; two lifelong-forever friends, Ann Gardner and Sandra Trent.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Cave City Christian Church with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Cave City Christian Church from 1-8 PM. Also from 9-1 PM on Thursday at the church.
