Bobby L. Campbell
Bobby L. Campbell, age 77, of Cave City, formerly of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at his home in Cave City. He loved Barren County and especially Barren River Lake. He loved boating and fishing.
He was born on April 16, 1937 to Robert and Verda Campbell. He was a member of the Cave City Baptist Church and was a multi-year All-Conference football player from Caverna High School and a lifelong barber by trade. Bob was also a United States Naval Veteran.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Verda Nell Hunter Campbell, sister, Joyce Harlan Marcum, two brothers, Jimmy Faye Campbell and William Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Camille (Campbell) Watson, son-in-law, John Watson, granddaughter, Allie Kate Watson, all of Paris, KY, nephew, Brian Harlan, of Munfordville, niece, Cathy Harlan McMillan, of Glasgow, and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave, with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery.
In addition to flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Cave City Baptist Church, 501 Broadway Street, Cave City ,Ky 42127.
