Bernard Stinson age 74 of Uno, Kentucky passed away Friday morning April 10, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Bernard was a Hart County native and a Retired Farmer. He enjoyed gardening, barbecuing, and fishing. He was of the Catholic Faith and loved his grandkids with a passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clint Stinson and Margaret Thompson Stinson, two brothers, Wayne and Charles Stinson, a niece, Jamesann Stinson and by a nephew, Christopher Reynolds.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Faye Ballard Stinson of Uno.
two daughters, Brenda Isenberg and her husband Jimmy of Uno and Margaret Slaughter and her husband Mike of Horse Cave.
two sons, Thomas Stinson and his wife Rachel of Uno, and Dewey Wayne Stinson and his wife Tamisha of Uno.
six grandchildren, Ashley Isenberg, Mason Slaughter, Logan Stinson, Molly Slaughter, Jaylynn Hodges and Abby Stinson.
two brothers, Kenneth Stinson of Westmoreland,TN., and Boobie Stinson and his wife Theresa of Horse Cave.
four sisters, Paulette Bush of Horse Cave, Kathy Dennison and her husband Paul Burton of Uno, Sue Martin and her husband Kenny of Horse Cave,and Shelia England of Horse Cave.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews , cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday April 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow on the Stinson Family Farm. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday.
