Barbara Jean Jeter

September 14, 1939 — March 2, 2014

Barbara Collins Jeter age 74 of Horse Cave, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Barbara was a Hart County native, lifelong registered nurse retiring from the Glasgow State I.C.F. Hospital, formerly the T.B. Hospital. Barbara was a Member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church at Uno.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon B. and Mable Martin Collins, and 1 brother, Mike Collins.

Barbara is survived by her children, Pam Wilson and husband Donnie of Cave City, Beth Hope and her husband Keith of Glasgow and Chris Jeter and his wife Teresa of Edmonton.  Four grandchildren, Derek Phillips, Micah Druin, Karie Jeter and Emily Jeter, two great-grandchildren, Aubree Kinslow and Tavis Druin, two brothers, Donnie Collins and wife Carol of Horse Cave, Dennis Collins and wife Sharon of Smiths Grove and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Gideons International.
