Barbara Jane Gillock

Barbara Jane Gillock age 69 of Northtown passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jane was a Hart County native , a homemaker, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend to everyone, she was a Kentucky Colonel, a longtime member of the Northtown Baptist Church, and she enjoyed farming, flowers,and nature in general.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward D. Releford and Margaret McCorkle Releford. a daughter Phyllis Gillock Rountree Hayes who passed away on May 20, 2005 which was nine years to the day of Jane's passing. She was also preceded in death by a great niece Makayla Faith Meadows.

She is survived by her husband, Rondell T. Gillock of Northtown, her son, Johnny Gillock and his wife Edna of Northtown, her daughter, Rhonda Gillock Logsdon and her husband Robert also of Northtown ,four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, one brother, Vincent Lee Ward and his wife Juanita of Horse Cave, three sisters, Sandy Cartmill and her husband Billy of Munfordville, Debbie Pedigo and her husband Jessie of Glasgow and Patty Saltsman of Glasgow. Also several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave with burial to follow in the Northtown Church Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 5 until 9 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Friday.
