Archie Marion Hay

Archie Marion Hay, age 72, of Horse Cave, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was a native of Horse Cave and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was an avid woodworker and loved doing projects for his friends and family. He was very proud to have the honor of serving his Country in The United States Army. He was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Paul Hay and Glea Bilbrey Hay; his step-mother, Hallie Esters Hay; two brothers, Paul David Hay and G.W. Esters; two sisters, Mae Esters Meredith and Georgia P. Childress; a daughter-in-law, Natasha Johnson Hay; his father-in-law, Howard Devore.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Hay; his two sons, Paul Burton Hay (Jennifer) and Brandon Nuel Hay (Jessica); eight grandchildren, Cole Hay, Alec Hay, Ty Hay, Katie Austin, Gracie Mabe, Ashlyn Holloway, Archer Hay, and Zandon Hay; A great-granddaughter, Zaylee Kate Austin; a great-grandson, Owen Robert Hay, due in July; one sister, Paulette McKinney (Billy); his mother-in-law, Wyonia Devore; his brother and sister-in-law, Timmy and Kim England; several nieces and nephews. 

To honor Archie's wishes, cremation was chosen. A Celebration Of Life service will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6 PM with Military Honors provided by the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow to follow. Visitation will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church from 5 PM until time of service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in memory of Archie Marion Hay.

A great christain man whom I called friend. Loved talking to G.W. and Archie about Jesus back in the 1970s! Prayers for comfort to Ann and all the family. He will be missed greatly.
