Alene Asbury age 84 of Horse Cave passed away 7:30 a.m. Tuesday September 20, 2011 at the Hart County Health Care Center in Horse Cave.
She was born in Hoopston, Illinois, retired cook at the former Lane's Restuarant in Horse Cave, Kountry Kitchen in Cave City and was a member of Richardsville Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Mabel Twyman Asbury, brother, Kenneth Asbury, sister, Geraldine Logsdon and a niece Janice Faye Logsdon.

2 daughters: Kathy Nichols of Cave City
Marylon (Diann) Martin and husband Norman of Glasgow
5 granddaughters: Melinda Crabtree and husband Jeff, Sandra Folsom, Pamela Nichols, Melissa Anderson and husband Steve, Kathy Lynn Decker and husband Terry
eight great-grandchildren and four great-greatgrand
1 nephew: Wayne Asbury
Visitation
Visitation 6:30 p.m - 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Riordan Cemetery.
