Agnes Ramsey Fields age 72 of Cave City passed away Saturday April 19, 2014 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was a native of Edmonson County, a member of the Cave City Baptist Church and the former co-owner / operator of Field's Electric and Plumbing in Cave City. Agnes enjoyed quilting and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.She was a friend to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Ramsey , her husband, Daymon Fields and by one brother, Wayne Ramsey.
Survivors include one son, Doug Fields and his wife Debbie of Glasgow, one daughter, Debra Coomer and her husband Jim of Bowling Green and four grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel and Madison Coomer and Heather Fields. Her mother, Lillie Ramsey , Eight sisters, Jean Belcher, Loretta Hamblin and her husband Luther, her twin sister, Alice Harper and her husband Wayne, Shirley Jaggers and her husband Denny, Anita Richardson, Ruth Thompson, Drucilla Dennis and her husband Wayne, and Faye Thompson and her husband Danny. Five brothers, J.C. Ramsey and his wife JoNell, Cecil Ramsey and his wife Becky, Romie Ramsey and his wife Karen, Bobby Ramsey and his wife Debbie and Stanley Ramsey and his wife Shelly. Very Special Friends, Walter and Betty Harper and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday April 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Winn Funeral Home in Horse Cave with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation at Winn Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday.
