Ardith Jarrett Altman , age 83 formerly of Horse Cave died at 6:05 a.m. Monday October 2, 2006 at the Hill View Retirement Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born August 8, 1923 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Roy G. Jarrett and Mary Cash Jarrett , and the widow of the late Emory Altman.
She was a member of the Horse Cave Christian Church, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Tau Phi Lamba Sorority of Woodmen. She retired in 1979 as an employee of the federal goverment after 36 years of service, 33 years with the Internal Revenue Service and 3 years with the U. S. Air Force.

VISITATION

Visitation will be private. Arrangements under direction of Winn Funeral Home .

FUNERAL SERVICES

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery with burial to follow.
