Dateline - Horse Cave, Ky.
George Adwell age 87 of Horse Cave passed away 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his home.
He was a native of Horse Cave, W.W.II Army Veteran, member of Little Hope Baptist Church, retired electrician for Mammoth Cave National Park where he served for 32 years including his military service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alf Adwell and Virgie Dennison Adwell.
Survivors Include
wife: Leila Adwell of Horse Cave
son: Johnny Adwell of Horse Cave
daughter: Becky Gregory of Indiana
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services:
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery.
Visitation
Visitation 10:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m Wednesday at the funeral home.
