Dateline - Horse Cave, Ky.
Lillie V. Atwell, 101, of Hardyville, passed away at 7:15 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Hart County Health Care Center.
She was born in Barren County, Ky., retired from teaching school after 36 years in 1971, and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late William Washington and Sarah Catherine Rock Webb.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Atwell, April 13, 1978 and by 3 sisters and 6 brothers.
Survivors Include
Her son and daughter-in law, Bobby J. and Jeanetta Atwell, Hardyville,
Her granddaughter and husband, Debra and Danny Crabtree, Hardyville,
Her grandson and wife, Gregory and Robin Atwell, Hardyville,
Great-grandchildren, Brandon and Courtney Atwell, Hardyville, Bryan Crabtree and wife Lori, Richmond, Ky., Lori Avery and husband Brandon, Linwood, Joshua Crabtree, Hardyville,
Great-great-grandchildren, Anna and Cole Avery, Linwood,
Her sister, Lora Atwell, Horse Cave,
2 sisters-in law, Wilda Turner, Campbellsville, Bernice Wilcoxson, Center,
several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Sunday, November 18, 2007 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Center Cemetery.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 17th from 1:30 - 9:00 PM and after 9:00 AM, Sunday.
